Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange (Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange).
Source: Manga.
Genres: Action, drama, shounen.
Studio: Brain's Base.
(Known for Durarara!!, Baccano!, In/specter, To Your Eternity S1, Gakuen Babysitters, Srvamp and many more.)

Personal thoughts:
What is to be said about this series is first it feels more like a Senen than just a Shounen like when "Gurazani (Money Pitch)" aired with realism and realistic*s about the profession and such that can convey irl.

Shun and Daigo being 2 out of the 3 MC's in pure focus when they are task handling fire rescue and other severe emergency's was exciting to see and one can compare Japan to other country's on how they operate and determine on the job (let alone the training methods).

Yuki's story was sad and can easy to sympathies as well as Daigo's which I do hope for a S2 for backstory detail and fine out what happens when certain secrets come out.

The animation was pretty good and no skimp in quality but not the best compared to big title names such as SAO and such.
The OP staying the same with it's soundtrack "Anthropos" was great while I do prefer the first ED and sound track "Perfect World" by LMYK better though.

Another big surprise and a W is the Narrator done by Kenjiro Tsuda when the last time he's done was narration was for Cells At Work: Code Black.

The most downside is some incidents is not exactly what would happen irl and the gender issues for female and male comparing to handle the said profession and this can be considered boring or dry to some.

Anyways 8/10 and is slept upon.

This was cool bruv. Showed a different side of the fire fighter lifestyle. Good characters and good music bruv. Nice character developments, you can clearly tell the difference between everyone from episode to now. Dream team move out. A bit too many flashbacks, but enjoyable series nonetheless. Get us a s2!

The original protagonist came back in action huh. Daigo (first protag) is more like Shun Ogawa.

This gives me even more mixed feelings. Maybe there are times that listening to reason could help find out if the person truly deserves being punished or not. However, many good reasons cannot truly justify horrific deeds, so that needs to be taken into consideration. So I still believe that no matter the reason, Justice still needs to serve no matter how merciless it may seem.

And we are done with this anime. This was honestly better than I expected it to be. A lot of informative scenes and very realistic to what would happen in an actual fire emergency. Definitely the counter-part of the anime Fire Force lol. There were times however where I noticed they tried a bit too hard to push the feministic concepts that 'women can be firefighters too' and they tried forcing it even more by adding another 2 female characters - this made it less realistic bcs women cannot take on high pressure and muscular-based jobs like being fire fighters just bcs they want to, but their physical strength won't match the requirements needed for the job, so the anime should have dropped this deceiving idea. Shun and Daigo were at the epitome of every mission, especially Shun growing up to be the substitute MC for Daigo right at the very end - very impressive! What can I say: the story was good, with small hiccups and boring convos; the action was fantastic and mostly realistic, except for Yuki's scenes; the characters exemplary bcs most fire fighters in either America and United Kingdom stay at their offices and barely do any training - I am glad to see Japan actually taking things seriously; and the ending was great! Hopefully we get a second season for this and a solid piece of work overall!

Overall Score: 8/10! Sayonara! :)

after seeing grown ass men cry how could i stay still T_T
f*ck that was emotional

was gonna rate it 7/10 cuz the recaps kept driving me crazy and some of the rescues were pure sci fi, BUT im giving it a 8/10 simply for how unique the anime is (compared to all the isekai crap) and that ending won me over tbh

This Anime really shows what firefighters are going through and risk and knowledge needed. Definitely worth a rewatch but still what is happening in July 2 years from now? Is a meter hitting their area??

I really loved seeing what Asahina and Glasses Guy’s relationship is like lol (besides that tidbit of their video call). I hope we get to see more of their bickering xD
